Dr. Howe graduated from The Stritch School of Medicine of Loyola University in Chicago.  He completed an internal medicine residency at Loyola University Medical Center and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.  Dr. Howe continued at Loyola in a fellowship program in general and critical care cardiovascular medicine.  
During his cardiology fellowship, Dr. Howe focused on the clinical treatment of cardiovascular disease in both the outpatient and inpatient settings and has taken special interest in the treatment of critically ill cardiac patients. In addition to the development of his clinical acumen, during his training Dr. Howe published several scholarly articles in the disciplines of congestive heart failure/transplant medicine and cardiac computed tomographic imaging of the heart.
As a highly trained clinical cardiologist, Dr. Howe specializes in lifestyle modification and cardiac imaging, including nuclear stress testing. He has practiced medicine in Tucson since 2008 and joined Carondelet Heart & Vascular Physicians in 2013.
