Southwest Commercial Management, LLC (“SCM”) was established in 1989 to bring excellence to the field of property management. SCM brought together a group of professionals with proven expertise, teamwork, and commitment to every project.
SCM’s primary focus is full real estate service for our clients. We provide services for many commercial properties including government facilities, office buildings, shopping centers, and industrial properties.
We have extensive experience with managing the City of Tucson Courts, Information Technology and Water Department buildings and have managed these buildings efficiently over the last twenty-one years. In addition, our experience extends to managing other high-rise facilities, buildings with 24-hour operations and buildings with sensitive security, safety and protection needs.
SCM’s multiple property management capabilities go beyond the typical facility management, maintenance, technical or accounting services provided by our competitors. The service structure of our company permits us to design and implement real estate services defined by the specific objectives of each particular client and property.
Our office is staffed with
licensed real estate management professionals who perform all of the functions necessary to operate our clients’ properties efficiently and maximize the net return on investment. Our combined talent insures the technical expertise necessary to develop innovative solutions to any type of property management challenge. We employ creativity and experience to problem solving, maintenance and operating procedures to satisfy both client and occupant needs. Due to our ongoing education and training programs, we are able to offer quality and knowledgeable service from all members of our organization.
SCM is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
Lynn Kastella, RPA and President of Southwest Commercial Management, LLC, is Tucson’s longest-standing member of BOMA and is a former BOMA of Greater Tucson President and Governor, former Member of the Year and has served on every BOMA committee.
Through our involvement in this organization and others, SCM has access to national publications, cost analysis surveys and industry-related seminars. These memberships also provide us access to valuable industry-related information and input on important legislation affecting the real estate industry.
While serving as the Chair for the Government Affairs Committee for BOMA, Lynn Kastella worked with the City of Tucson Fire Department and Tucson Electric Power to create the first generic Fire Safety/Emergency Preparedness Manual. This manual is being used in multiple buildings throughout Tucson today. SCM has been a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
