Aug 19 2008 - Shyann Kindness Project

At Saguaro Rotary's first regular meeting at our new home, Pastiche Modern Eatery, Jeff Mendelsohn shared with us the Shyann Kindness Project together with his story of how he became involved. Shyann Ariana Rosati passed away in 2005 at the age of 7 when cards were given out in her honor to pass along an act of random kindness. This grew to a project of providing disadvantaged kids with packages of school supplies together with cards asking them to pass on a random act of kindness. The project has grown dramatically in just a few short years and the mission continues. There are any different ways member or others can participate.
