August 17 - Major Gabriel Johnson

Major Gabriel Johnson presented what all Tucsonian's want to know, will the F35 come to Tucson?  "Gabe" explained to us that training pilots in Tucson is important to the military and extremely important for the economy of Tucson. Tucson has some of the best facilities and of course weather, available for Fighter Training in the US. Many pilots from other countries temporarily reside in Tucson for this training, so it is not only reserved for US pilots.  Major "Gabe's" presentation, consumed our Rotary group for the entire 30 minutes. It was honest, frank and enlightening. We all left our meeting with a much better understanding of this topic.
