This past Tuesday's meeting on 12/9 featured John King and Loren Marsters to speak about Fix The Hurt,
a non profit corporation dedicated to preventing domestic violence. Mr.
Marsters is the writer / director of "Domestic Violence The Musical".
Mr. King and his wife Linda founded Fix The Hurt to help victims of domestic violence. His family's story itself was a powerful presentation, while Mr. Marsters presented a synopsis complete with some singing to describe the play "Domestic Violence, The Musical" They have presented this program to numerous groups in several states and is contimuing to offer it to non-profits and governmental groups to bring the message of how one can deal with domestic violence as it applies to themselves or their friends. ATTENTION: The Saguaro Rotary Club's annual Holiday Luncheon will be on December 16 and feature the Choralaires of Flowing Wells High School. The choir consists of 17 students and is led by Jordan Saul, director. We will be inducting Diane Goodyear as a new member. Be sure to bring your Angel Tree gifts also as they are now due. Scott Forgues will also have the tickets for the Gaslight Theater available for $20 each if you have signed up. We will be meeting in the main restaurant at Pastiche.
