Feb 9 - Man of the Year

Approximately 400 community and business leaders turned out to honor Bruce Dusenberry, Cindy Parseghian and Dr. John Schaefer as the 2009 Man & Woman of the Year and Founder's Award recipients at the luncheon held at the Westin La Paloma. After receiving many standing ovations and letters of congratulations from Governor Jan Brewer's office, the Pima County Board of Supervisors, the Mayor's office and Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, the three recipients addressed those in attendance and thanked the Tucson community for its support.
Over 30 past recipients of these awards were also in attendance. The event, in its' 58th year, was once again sponsored by Tucson Electric Power Company and BizTucson magazine.
