Valley Fever (VF) is a serious disease that affects thousands of people in Arizona and the Southwest.

VF is a disease casued by a fungus in the soil in the Southwest region of the United States and is also found in parts of Mexico and Central and South America.

Most people may have only mild symptoms; however, usually it affects the lungs, but may spread to other parts of the body such as the bones, skin, joints or brain.
