May 22 - Enjoy Our Parks!

A little light on attendance (vacations?) but still an enjoyable meeting. Thanks to our speaker, Ron Odell, a regional supervisor for the city's Parks and Recreation department. Ron filled us in on summer programs and all the resources available in the city's fine public park system.

The Board has approved the membership application of Henry Raszkowski from Long Realty. If you haven't met Henry, please introduce yourself!

As President-Elect Fred Narcaroti organizes directors and committees for the next Rotary year, take the opportunity to think about what you are doing to support the club and achieve our goals. Talk to Fred about your ideas and where you are best able to contribute to the club's success. Real Rotarians aren't spectators - they participate! Be a real Rotarian!

Important dates: The Board Meeting for June has been rescheduled to Monday, June 11th. There will NO MEETING on Tuesday, June 19th. Please attend the Installation Banquet on June 23rd. Woody Cohen is managing signup for the banquet; be prepared to tell Woody how many guests you will have. Members attend the banquet at no charge, guests will be $35.
