Nov 21 - Climb Every Mountain!

At our November 21st meeting, our own Maurice Saroni presented a fascinating slide show on his climb to the top of Mt. Denali (aka Mt. McKinley.) Maurice was also recognized with a single sapphire Paul Harris pin for reaching the $2,000.00 milestone on his Paul Harris donations. Congratulations Maurice!

Scott Polston, Foundation Treasurer, announced a club match of up to $100.00 for Paul Harris donations during the month of November (which is Rotary Foundation month.) Several members (I counted 8) pledged a $100.00 or more. Awesome!

David Baker, Service Chair, brought about 30 holiday angels from the Flowing Wells Family Resource Centers. The angels were "adopted" by club members who will now shop for their angels and then bring their purchases to the December 5 club meeting.
