Nov 28 - Elections, Chairs Report

At the Club Assembly, Nov. 28th, Club Chairs reported on the progress of their areas and the membership elected new officers for Rotary Year 2007-2008. See the full report on the election below.

Membership Chair Christine Alexander reported our excellent progress with 3 new members recently and more prospects on hand.

David Baker, our Service Chair, reported on the District Simplified Grant that has been approved. This Grant will provide $2000 in District funds to match $2000 from our club's Foundation. The money will pay for a shopping trip for clothing at the Tucson Mall for deserving teenagers from the Flowing Wells School District. Saguaro members will accompany the shoppers on a trip planned for a weekend in January. More details to come on this great project!
