Oct 10 - Back from Brazil, Lauro Rios' Presents

More comfortable now, back in our larger meeting room at the Manning House, we had another fun filled meeting. Lots of songs, happy bucks, Sgt At Arms action, and general horsing around.

The Poker Fundraiser on Oct 8th was a success. A lot of folks had a great time, many people learned something about Rotary, and a lot of prizes and trophies were distributed. The event raised about $3,600 for the Saguaro Rotary Foundation, the most so far in our series of poker events.

GSE Team Member Laura Rios, who was sponsored by Saguaro Rotary, has returned from the GSE trip to Brazil and gave a wonderful presentation. She shared great stories, great pictures, and we got a real education about the amazing country of Brazil.
