Oct 31 - Nothing too scary...

Nothing very frightening happened at our Halloween meeting! Our speaker, Michael Charton, gave us some background on the Tucson Transportation Museum and on the state of the railroad industry.

Jeretta Douglas stood in for President Rene' Ground and Dave Becker covered for absent Sgt at Arms John MacIntire. Not too many fines from the well behaved group. Scott Polston brought in a club banner from the Rotary Club of Casablanca (Morocco), and presented it to Nick Genematas -- particularly appropriate as Nick is the owner of the Casa Blanca Plaza shopping center! Nick responded with a generous contribution to the Rotary International Foundation.

Note that the next meeting, November 7th, will feature a Bake Sale benefiting our U of A Rotaract club. Bring cash - don't get outbid for your favorite desert!
