Aaron Ball -  Assistant Superintendent/Chief Academic Officer    

Aaron Ball has helped the Pima County JTED grow from serving approximately 12,000 students to more than 20,000 students in 34 high schools and nine central campus locations. He gained his teaching and administrator experience in the Flowing Wells School District, and joined JTED in 2008. As JTED’s Executive Director of Program Development, his responsibilities have included expanding the district’s central Nursing Services Program, and launching programs for AgriScience, Automotive, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Early Childhood Education, Fire, Law, Graphic Design, Multimedia, and, most recently, Medical Assisting. He was promoted to Assistant Superintendent this past summer.


Chief Joe Gulotta - who is appointed and works directly for Chief Jim Critchley - the head of the Fire Department - will be there to give a brief thank you talk for all of the hard work and funds Saguaro has done/collected for the fire services throughout the years. He is also the Chair of our Tucson Fire Fighters Memorial, which will be held this year on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Fire Central commencing at 10:00 AM. All Rotarians are invited and we will be honoring the 19 fallen from Prescott

In the fire service for 29 years (25 with Tucson Fire) Lived in Tucson for 40 years Married with 4-children Graduate of a Tempe based college- name to be un-spoken in Wildcat country Past Board Member for American Red Cross of Southern Arizona (2004-2010) Chair from (2008-2010) Current Advisory Board Member of Salvation Army of Tucson

Current position- Assistant Chief over Division 3- Logistics, Public Education and Fire Prevention.

Public Education:
*Division 3 is responsible for the department's public information and social media as well as public education programs.

Fire Prevention:
*The Fire Prevention leg of Division 3 is responsible for all fire prevention activities throughout the community including reviewing construction plans, inspecting commercial buildings, and investigating the cause of fires.

Logistics:
*The Logistics side of Division 3 is responsible for department construction project, which included the construction of Fire Central and the on going renovation of our emergency communication center. Facility management for our 23 fire stations. The purchasing of all goods and services used by the department. The last section in Division 3 is the fleet maintenance- we operate a commercial vehicle maintenance shop for all of TFDs fire trucks.
