September 1, 2009 1st Club Assembly of the Year Big Success!

Saguarotarians conducted their 1st Club Assembly of the year with Scott Polston reporting on what is happening at the Foundation and specifically this year's fundraising ideas. Scott Forgues presented some excellent ideas on membership drives. Diane updated us on club PR including soliciting ideas from the regular members on clubrunner. Last but certainly not least, Christine presented several initiatives for socials and holiday parties. Additionally, the regular club voted on an old long standing tradition of keeping our song book and how many songs we should sing at the regular Tuesday meetings. After much discussion, the club voted to keep the "welcome to rotary" song and at the president's discretion, to have a patriotic song.
